About this site

This is an information site about writing and talking across a language gap, in the context of relationships with Russian and Ukrainian women. Its purpose is practical: to help you write clearly, read carefully and avoid the misunderstandings that come from translation and from assumption.

What it will never publish

No profiles, no photographs of real women, no names, ages or cities of individuals, and no testimonials from members. The sample letters in the guides are invented for illustration. The site does not introduce anyone and takes no payment for introductions.

How the guides are written

Each guide is written as practical advice, with short examples and checklists. Where a statement depends on an external rule or a tool’s current features, the guide tells you to check the official or provider page, because both change. If you find an error, tell us and include the source.
